Our Story
At The Sassy Gay Store, we’re inspired by the beauty, humor, and meaning behind handmade gifts. Raised by artsy moms, our founders grew up surrounded by creativity and developed a lifelong love of thoughtful, expressive gift-giving. The gay and sassy parts? Those we proudly cultivated ourselves. And just like that, The Sassy Gay Store was born—part love letter, part side-eye, all joy.
We believe self-expression matters, especially for LGBTQIA+ folks and queer youth who deserve to see themselves affirmed, celebrated, and reflected in the world around them. Our work is rooted in visibility, pride, and the belief that a well-placed laugh can be a powerful form of connection.

We offer a wide range of gifts. . .from apparel and drinkware to home décor, paper goods, and accessories. . .all thoughtfully designed and crafted by skilled LGBTQIA+ artisans. We also love creating custom designs for any occasion. Truly—no request is too weird.
Giving back is part of who we are. That’s why 10% of our profits are donated to GLSEN, helping advance their vital work supporting LGBTQIA+ students and creating safer, more inclusive schools.

Hi! We’re Kevin and Nathan, the founders—and resident artists—behind The Sassy Gay Store. We’re a newlywed couple, proudly queer, fully loaded with sass, and (let’s be honest) a little light on cash. Your support of our small business helps keep our dogs pampered in the luxurious lifestyles they absolutely believe they deserve, so truly—thank you.
